We currently have an opportunity for a Lift Truck Operator at our Manufacturing Warehouse in Concord, NC.

Pay: $27.73-27.73/ hour

Day shift: 7:00pm- 3:30pm

*Pay rate is dependent upon prior experience and interview results

Responsibilities

The Lift Truck Operator is responsible for safely operating forklifts and material handling equipment to support production, warehousing, and shipping operations. This role ensures finished products are accurately palletized, staged, and prepared for customer shipment while maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production flow, and adhering to safety and quality standards. The Lift Truck Operator also assists with training new employees and completing production documentation.

  • Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, stage, and transport materials and finished goods.
  • Package, palletize, and prepare products for shipment according to customer and quality specifications.
  • Load, unload, and transport materials to support production and warehouse operations.
  • Complete production, inventory, and shipping documentation accurately and on time.
  • Promote a safe work environment by following company policies, procedures, and safe operating practices.
  • Assist in training and mentoring new employees on equipment operation and work processes.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, efficiency, and quality.
  • Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Operate manual and electric pallet jacks to palletize shipping cases and move materials.
  • Transport raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods throughout the facility.
  • Verify product identification, quantities, and packaging prior to shipment.
  • Load and unload trailers while maintaining product integrity.
  • Create and maintain accurate daily production and shipping reports.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with 5S and housekeeping standards.
  • Train and support new employees on standard operating procedures and safe equipment operation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education

  • High school diploma or GED.

Experience

  • Experience operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to accurately complete production and shipping documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime, nights, weekends, or holidays as business needs require.

Preferred

  • Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment.
  • Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory systems, or barcode scanners.
  • Previous experience training or mentoring employees.
