Pay: $25.26 / hour

*Pay rate is dependent upon prior experience and interview results

Responsibilities

As a Power Truck Driver, you will play a critical role in keeping production running efficiently by ensuring raw materials, components, and finished goods are moved safely and accurately throughout the facility. Working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will support production, warehouse, and shipping operations while maintaining inventory accuracy and following all safety and quality standards.

This position requires a safety-focused individual who is comfortable operating forklifts, using SAP for inventory transactions, and working collaboratively with production teams to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

  • Safely operate a forklift to transport raw materials, components, finished goods, and packaging materials throughout the facility.
  • Supply production lines with the materials needed to maintain continuous operations.
  • Monitor production areas and proactively replenish materials to minimize downtime.
  • Return unused materials from production to designated warehouse locations.
  • Receive, transport, and properly store incoming raw materials, including metal and plastic roll stock.
  • Perform inventory transactions and material movements accurately in SAP.
  • Organize, consolidate, and cycle count warehouse storage locations to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Move finished goods from production to designated shipping dock locations.
  • Transport pallets, totes, corrugate, cores, scrap, resin, flake, and other materials to appropriate locations.
  • Label and stage recyclable and scrap materials according to company procedures.
  • Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues promptly.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe material movement and warehouse areas.
  • Identify and report safety concerns, damaged equipment, or facility repair needs to the Lead or Supervisor.
  • Assist fellow Material Movement Operators as needed to support production goals.
  • Follow all work instructions, quality procedures, GMP requirements, PPE requirements, and plant safety policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Department Supervisor or Shift Lead.

Requirements

Education

  • High school diploma or GED.

Experience

  • Forklift certification or the ability to become forklift certified.
  • Ability to safely operate material handling equipment.
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to learn SAP or similar inventory management systems.
  • Ability to lift, move, and transport materials throughout the workday.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or material movement operations.
  • Experience using SAP or another ERP/inventory management system.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Experience performing cycle counts and inventory control activities.
