Pay: $29.80/hour

Responsibilities

Your Role:

As an Manufacturing Trainer

You will have the opportunity to...

  • Training of new hires and current employees on required job tasks.

  • Sustain and improve current training program.

  • Tracking of training data and documentation

  • Development, updating and tracking of training materials, (SWIS, training log sheets, etc.)

  • Perform system / training audits as necessary

Requirements

We need you to have:

  • Minimum 2 years’ production experience
  • B2 Certified
  • Previous Training/Teaching experience preferred

1. Current trainers wishing to transfer will be considered first, based on seniority within the department. After all transfers are complete, interviews will be conducted.
2. Following the interviews; the most qualified applicant(s) will be offered the position(s).

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to stand and walk. The job frequently requires the employee to push and pull up to 15 pounds of force; reach forward and above the shoulders; bend and twist, climb stairs, frequently turn wrists, and grip/grasp an object, type on a keyboard, talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally carry/move up to 32 pounds. The employee will also occasionally be required to lift objects up to 35 pounds. Occasionally the employee will be asked to stoop/squat, kneel/crawl, climb scaffolding, and sit. The ability to have controlled use of both hands and both feet and have balance/coordination intact is required. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, mid-range, and distance vision including color, depth, and fields. Physical demands may also include ability to withstand extreme heat and moderate cold temperatures.

Associates who wish to apply must not have a current (less than one year old) Step 2 corrective action in their file, must have fewer than 4.5 attendance incidents at the time of the posting, and must be in their current role (LTO, Operator, R2, etc.) for greater than 6-months.
