Then we have an opportunity for you! We currently have an opportunity for a Logistics Team Leader at our manufacturing plant in Lewiston, UT.

Responsibilities

Your Role:

 

You will have the opportunity to Make Great Things Happen!

  • Communicate with Reynolds/Presto corporate as well as other manufacturing and distribution facilities in our network, through email, teams, or personal conversation.
  • PO receipts of STO’s, Raw Materials and Imports.
  • Set daily priorities, understand, and maintain net daily output goals.
  • Schedule customer pick-ups and deliveries through a shared email account.
  • Perform SAP transactions.
  • Perform computer operations to update finished product and raw material inventory. Including bit not limited to mid-month counts and prod and production counts.
  • Perform computer inventory maintenance for reconciliation of finished and raw material balances.
  • Review and perform inventory adjustments as needed with inventory counts from co-workers.
  • Assist in unloading incoming product and other assorted materials as needed.
  • Inspect all materials handled for damage; report and take appropriate corrective actions when defective material is found.
  • Perform work in a safe manner that protects and promotes the health and wellbeing of the individual and the environment.
  • Manage the company store. Keep inventory records for the store and SLOB.
  • Take care of any product donations that are approved.
  • Attend SLOB meetings and fulfill SLOB requirements.
  • Responsible to comply with the BRC and GMP practices and programs to ensure safe food packaging product and to report food safety problems to those with authority to act.
  • Perform all clerical functions in the Shipping/Logistics Department to support accurate and on time service to all customers, both internal and external, also but not limited to filing, greeting/directing carriers, answering phones, filing, etc.
  • Assist in daily training of employees.
  • Understand and maintain net daily output goals.
  • Restore process flow when it is interrupted.
  • Assist the area to develop/maintain standardized work.
  • Help troubleshoot problems to root cause as part of the help chain.
  • Lead continuous improvement methods; be proactive.
  • Responsible for maintaining personal conditioning to physically perform essential job functions.
  • Track mobile equipment hours and placement of all equipment in site.
  • Other activities as assigned.

Requirements

We need you to have:

  • Ability to learn, develop, and maintain knowledge and skills appropriate to job assignment.
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic technical skills
    • Battery and charger minor maintenance
    • Mobile equipment license.
    • Mobile equipment operations and minor adjustments
    • Snow removal equipment
    • Dock leveler/lock equipment
    • Ability to recognize when contracted services are needed for equipment repair.
  • Computer literacy including the following:
    • Ability to use email and Microsoft Office programs.
    • Ability to learn computer program.
  • Such as SAP, TMS and Ignition
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • High school equivalent math skills
  • High school equivalent reading skills
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing assignment demands.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Basic understanding of plant operations, product types, and identification labels.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 35 lbs. on a regular frequency.
  • Self-motivated. Possess personal initiative.
