As an Electrician.

You will have the opportunity to Make Great Things Happen!

• Abides by all plant safety requirements, including those of an authorized electrician.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot and repair all high speed automation equipment, electrical and mechanical, including but not limited to thermoforming, injection molding, and straws.
• Perform electrical and mechanical PM’s to ensure integrity of automation equipment.
• Perform changeovers on equipment to package various products
• Assist in modifying new and existing plant equipment to improve performance and productivity.
• Work with the engineering group on special projects.
• PLC and drive programming.
• Completes all paperwork in a timely manner.
• Other duties as required.

We need you to have:

• Demonstrated ability to work safely.
• Related experience in industrial automation electrical required.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• A self-starter, that can work with little supervision
• Must be able to work in quality driven, high demand, fast paced environment
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Understand and able to troubleshoot pneumatic systems
• Experience with troubleshooting PLCs.
• Demonstrated ability to coach, teach, and lead other operational personnel.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write and speak English. Solid math skills.
• Computer skills including email and other some other software skills. (ie. Word, Excel)
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed per production demands
• Must be available to work overtime for vacation coverage
• Must be flexible to work other shifts as needed per production demands
