Pay: $ 27.04/hour

Responsibilities

Your Role: 

You will have the opportunity to Make Great Things Happen!

  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards and achievement of safety goals in order to maintain a safe work environment that targets zero injuries.
  • Upholding RCP Quality Plan and SWIS’s to maintain product quality by setting expectation for team to adhere to product quality requirements and achieve zero quality defects.
  • Coaching associates and providing on-the-job training in order to improve individual and team skills.
  • Communicating effectively with each team member throughout their area of responsibility to ensure everyone has the information required for success.
  • Plan and monitor the progression of individual training plans (Pay for Skill) for the team.
  • Participate in continuous education for leadership development (This could require overtime).
  • Conducting Lean Behavioral Audits (TPM, 6S, SRP, etc.) and verifying SOC compliance.

Requirements

We need you to have: 

  • Must have demonstrated the use of their knowledge to improve processes and develop associates’ skills, the motivation and ability to gain additional knowledge, and technical aptitude.
  • One or more years of applicable experience with a demonstrated level of process expertise.
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to change as they support the team through day-to-day operations.
  • Organizational capabilities are also essential in order to efficiently manage their time and the team’s priorities. 
  • Willing to work often as the primary mentor for the team. In order to be effective, the R2 must have a good understanding of the capabilities of their team and equipment, must apply those assets accordingly, and must build a solid level of trust within the team. 
  • Must demonstrate a high degree of integrity, strong work ethic, and professionalism as they steadily drive for results.
  • Operator B3 qualified or higher.
  • Motivated self-starter that targets developing performance of a team.
  • Ability to coach, teach, train, and mentor others.

 

Icing on the cake:

  • Teaching or training experience.
  • Previous or current experience in the department.

 

Physical demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to stand and walk. The job frequently requires the employee to push and pull up to 15 pounds of force; reach forward and above the shoulders; bend and twist, climb stairs, frequently turn wrists, and grip/grasp an object, type on a keyboard, talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally carry/move up to 32 pounds. The employee will also occasionally be required to lift objects up to 35 pounds.  Occasionally the employee will be asked to stoop/squat, kneel/crawl, climb scaffolding, and sit.  The ability to have controlled use of both hands and both feet and have balance/coordination intact is required.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, mid-range, and distance vision including color, depth, and fields. Physical demands may also include ability to withstand extreme heat and moderate cold temperatures.   

 

Selection Criteria:

  1. Current R2s wishing to transfer will be considered first, based on seniority within the department.  After all transfers are complete, interviews will be conducted. 
  2. Following the interviews; the most qualified applicant(s) will be offered the position(s).

 

*Associates who wish to apply must not have a current (less than one year old) Step 2 corrective action in their file, must have fewer than 4.5 attendance incidents at the time of the posting, and must be in their current role (LTO, Operator, R2, etc.) for greater than 6-months*
