Then we have an opportunity for you! We currently have an opportunity for a Forklift Material Handler located at our manufacturing facility in Louisville, KY.

Pay: $20.85/hour after 30 days $27.50/hour

8-hour shifts

Must be available to work any shift, overtime, & weekends

Your Role:

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the operation of a driver-ridden power forklift to move, transport and position miscellaneous materials, products and containers throughout the plant. Run scrap baler, saw off material from drums, load and unload trucks.

• Make safety your number one priority by driving our safety initiatives.
• Inspect the condition of items received.
• Assist with the reconciliation of pallet quality issues.
• Ensure that all shipments have the proper paperwork, and that all documentation is completed.

We need you to have:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of forklift experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting. 
• Experience using an RF unit.
• Prior experience using both sit down and stand-up forklifts with the ability to obtain your forklift certification.
• Ability to read tapes, rules and weigh scales.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with some nights and weekends.

Icing on the cake:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience at a manufacturing facility.
• Operation of overhead hoists.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
