Pay: $28.25/hour 

Responsibilities

Your Role:

  • Be actively involved and support team continuous improvement efforts to improve the PM process.
  • Participate in TPM activities as assigned.
  • Willingness to work alternate schedules to support business needs, such as temporary rotating shifts, weekends and holidays.
  • Develop specialized skills as business needs require.
  • Effectively procure outside resources and information as necessary to service or repair equipment.
  • Maintain a safe work environment.
  • Make value judgments regarding equipment repair or replacement costs.
  • Participate in the help chain to resolve performance issues.
  • Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Responsible for maintaining personal conditioning to physically perform essential job functions.
  • Understand and apply safe electrical and mechanical operating procedures at all times.
  • Work independently and prioritize multiple work tasks.
  • Responsible for complying with the SQF and GMP practices and programs to ensure safe food packaging product and to report food safety problems to those with authority to act.
  • Represent the company in a supportive and professional manner.

Requirements

We need you to have:

  • Experience using basic shop and hand tools.
  • Related experience, i.e. shift service, team leader or rapid responder role.
  • High School education.

 

Icing on the cake:

  •  Two-year technical degree/certification in a related field.
