Pay: $25.46 / Hour

Shift: M-F 7:00AM-3:00PM

Days (8 Hour)

Responsibilities

As a Resin Coordinator, you will be responsible for the planning and receiving all resins including colors and additives needed to support the plant operations. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Perform weekly evaluation of open resin PO and take proper actions such as cancellations, expediting them, etc. Update excel planning spreadsheet on G drive.
  • Timely reporting to corporate resin coordinator quarterly resins forecasts.
  • Requesting and/or shipping resin transfers plant to plant.
  • Attend weekly resin planning review meetings with Corporate.
  • Communicate with resin’s suppliers and scrap buyers.
  • Update & send corporate planning report.
  • Contact & coordinate with scrap buyers the timely pickup of soft and die scrap as well as sweep resin gaylords.
  • Visually inspect railcars with resin ensuring seal’s integrity.
  • Unload resins into designated silos following approved standard work and proper safety procedures.
  • Receive gaylords with resin and coordinate their stagging on assigned locations.
  • Perform Monthly cycle counts on all resins, soft and die scrap gaylords as well profile rolls.
  • Provide cycle count results to the SAP data clerk for inventory adjustments, provide adjusted cycle count sheets to Plant Manager for approval and to the Plant’s Finance Manager for final processing.
  • Plan & coordinate the cleaning of empty resin silos as scheduled.
  • Responsible for the housekeeping of the Rail-shed. Coordinate with maintenance department the replacement of the filter’s socks twice/year.
  • Communicate to shift maintenance the repair of resin pumping equipment.
  • Produce work orders for other repairs in the rail shed area.
  • Accessing every week the DGNO website to request the swapping of railcars.
  • Embrace and support Presto’s Mission, Vision, Values, Goals and Business Objectives through continuous improvement and process development projects.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Recieving Clerk Responsibilities:

• Receive and check deliveries of MRO parts, office and safety supplies and Grainger managed supplies. Record receiving on the excel “ checkbook” saved in the G drive.
• Document the receiving of MRO parts in SAP.
• Report to vendor discrepancies on quantity or received goods.
• Print and attach bar code labels on MRO parts.
• Place received MRO parts on assigned locations in MRP room.
• Communicate to requesters when their items have been received.
• Place received goods on assigned tables. Maintain receiving table housekeeping and report to requesters to pick up their items from that location.
• Help chain for the baler employees.
• Responsible for the housekeeping of the receiving area
• Responsible for the housekeeping of dock door # 9.
• Responsible for the housekeeping of all the screens clean outside by the fence and by silos, also screens on gutters.
• Responsible for the housekeeping of the screens outside smokers’ area.
• Responsible for the housekeeping for the area outside/behind the railcar shed entrance.
• Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices are being followed on the receiving area.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable BRC requirements.
• Examine materials received, verify part numbers and quantities, and check discrepancies such as damages, unmarked parts, or inventory errors.
• Report to requesters any quality issues on materials not meeting quality standards.
• Communicate with affected employees issues regarding supplies and materials.
• Assist co-workers on material handling and inventory control concepts.
• Maintain resins inventory in conformance to plant and corporate levels.
• Maintain company vehicle such as ensuring assigned, regulatory maintenance is completed, inspections, registration, etc.

Requirements

We need you to have:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required
  • Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in order to complete required job duties.
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be competent on SAP
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
  • Must be able to communicate internally and externally to the company

Physical Working Conditions:

• Ability to lift to and including 35 lbs on a regular basis
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours
• Ability to perform job in a non-climate controlled environment
• Ability to access the roof to assist in troubleshooting resin systems

 

Required Training:

• Must have Roof Access Training
• Must have general training on Confined Spaces
• Must have Fall Protection Training
• Must be a certified Forklift Operator

 

Environmental Safety and Hygiene: 
• Understand and follow all safety policies and regulations
• Maintain an inspection ready workplace that is in compliance with Presto’s policies
• Must be aware of environmental issues such as waste streams and proper disposal of materials used and TSCA regulations.
• Explosive dust Control awareness
• Responsible for compliance on dust control, Internal Audit Area # 8.
